The World Petroleum Council is set to hold its19th conference tomorrow in Madrid with the participation of senior officials in most oil producing and consuming countries under the title "The world is passing a transitional period: Provision of energy for sustainable development". The conference lasts for four days. A host of Saudi oil experts, led by Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Abdulaziz, Advisor at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, who is also Chairman of the Saudi National Committee, an affiliate of the World Petroleum Council, will present a number of papers to the conference. On the sidelines of the conference, the Kingdom will hold an exhibition, funded by Saudi Aramco, and review the prospects of the Saudi oil industry and its development as well as major international oil companies and oil service companies.
