Nine people died and 16 were wounded as a result of a crash between a truck and a passenger bus in the Leningrad Region, Itar-Tass learnt at the road traffic department of the Russian Interior Ministry. The road accident took place around midnight 60 kilometres from St. Petersburg on the Moscow-Petersburg-Pskov highway. Officers of the road traffic department continue investigations at the place of the accident, trying to find out particulars of the tragedy.
