Four persons died and another 25 were injured in a car crash on the administrative border between the Kemerovo and Novosibirsk regions, the press service of the regional administration told Itar-Tass on Tuesday. A Grandbird bus belonging to the Novosibirsk-based RegionBus private firm was en route Novosibirsk-Kemerovo along M53 highway. It has 41 passengers as it collided with a Volvo truck at around 07:50, Moscow time, on Tuesday. The injured persons were rushed to Kemerovo hospitals. According to preliminary information, the bus drove into an incoming lane. Experts from the regional department of the Emergency Situations Ministry, emergency medicine personnel, police and Investigative Committee (SK) specialists went to the scene. A regional commission was set up to investigate the cause of the road accident. It is headed by regional governor Aman Tuleyev. The governor ordered to provide financial assistance to the families of the fatalities and the injured persons.
