Angari delivered a speech in which he conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince to all participants in the conference as well as their wishes for the success of this conference. "In light of the continual care given by the King to scientific research, it is my honor to announce the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to be the Honorary President of the Saudi Scientific Association for Nano Technology", Dr. Khalid announced. Dr. Khalid thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his generous support and continuous care. The Rector of King Abdulaziz University presented a shield on this occasion to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques which was received on his behalf by the Minister of Higher Education. The conference sessions began discussing a number of research papers submitted by the participants. The Minister of Higher Education said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is aware of the importance developing Nano technology in scientific research institutions and affiliated centers in Saudi universities.
