A car with an officer from the company of the republican guard service Zakre Tumgoyev inside it came under fire at the crossroads of Mutaliyev and Magasskaya Streets in Ingushetia's capital at about 11 a.m. Moscow time on Monday, Itar-Tass reported. Tumgoyev received a tangential wound and was hospitalized, the Investigation Department at the Russian Prosecutor General's Office in Ingushetia said today. According to available reports, the attackers were driving a black-colored VAZ-21112. The search operation for them is underway. A criminal case was instituted for an attempt on the life of a law enforcer and the illegal keeping and carrying of weapons and ammunition, the republican investigation department said.
