Italian Ambassador to the kingdom Eugenio D'auria has decorated Secretary General of King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives Dr. Fahd bin Abdullah Alsammari with the medal of Senior Officer of the Solidarity Rank in appreciation of the foundation's efforts to boost the historical and cultural cause of its country, rapprochement among peoples and Saudi-Italian cultural relations. This came during the embassy's celebration of Italy's national day on Monday. In a press statement on this occasion, Dr. Alsammari expressed happiness for this gesture, saying that in line with directives by Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the foundation, the foundation has been cooperating with foundations abroad in the field of historical documentation including cooperation with the Italian embassy in the kingdom.
