Police say a small plane has crashed in a mountain pass in northern Italy and four people on board were killed, according to AP. Lt. Angelo Bello of the Carabinieri police in Rovereto says the small training aircraft went down in a ravine of the Borcola Pass near the northeastern town of Rovereto. The dead include two men and a woman. The fourth victim could not immediately be identified due to extensive injuries. Bello says the plane was on a return trip from Trento to Venice when it crashed Sunday. The cause of the crash is being investigated, though area weather was fair at the time.
