Saudi Arabia assists Eritrea in combating Locust

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia delivered here today $ 300,000 worth of kind assistance to Eritrea for combating locust.
The assistance was delivered by Salih Ibrahim Al-Qu'eit, the director of combating agricultural blight department at the agriculture ministry, and Hussein al-Maleki, the representative of the finance ministry, to Amanoeil Nijasi, the under secretary of the Eritrean agriculture ministry.
The kind assistance included seven pick-up Toyota cars, and 13 spraying devices which were earlier shipped to Eritrea via the Islamic Port of Jeddah.
The Eritrean official expressed appreciation for the Kingdom's kind gesture.
