The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of congratulations to President Michel Suleiman on his election as new President of the Republic of Lebanon. In his own name and on behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the monarch expressed cordial felicitations on the confidence bestowed on Suleiman by the Lebanese people, wishing the president every success. On the occasion, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques lauded the current firm historical relations binding the two countries, confirming the keenness of the Saudi leadership to further enhance them in all fields.
