Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah Region, today inspected the progress of construction works at King Abdullah Economic City in this Red Sea coastal city of Rabegh. At the venue, he was received by senior officials, led by the Governor of the General Commission for Investment Amro bin Abdullah Al-Dabbagh. In a press statement, the Executive President of the Economic City Construction Company, which won the bid to carry out the project, Fahd Al-Rasheed stressed the company's keenness to develop the project in line with the wise vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud aimed at promoting national economic growth through valuable development and investment initiatives. He suggested that the visit of Prince Khalid Al-Faisal to the project reflects the keenness of the state to pursue the progress of work at this economic project. He pointed out that the visit also coincided with the launch of sales of "Azmiralda" suburb, the first dedicated to villas and International Golf Resort at the city. He said the construction work at King Abdullah Economic City proceeds as scheduled.
