A delegation of Arab British Chamber of Commerce has visited headquarters of the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry as well as Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During the visits, the delegation members and the Chambers' officials discussed a mechanism for European-Gulf Forum, which is to be organized by the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council in cooperation with ABCC in London from November 12-13, 2008. The organizing of the Forum and an exhibition on its fringes, comes within the framework of persistent efforts made by the GCC General Secretariat in promoting and supporting the external relations of the Gulf private sector as one of the important tools in the development and maximizing the economic role of the private sector in the march of economic and social development of the GCC countries. ABCC is a London-based organization, established in 1975 to encourage Arab-British trade and economic cooperation.
