The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the German and Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GACIA) and renewed a previous agreement with the Arab and British Chamber of Commerce (ABCC). JCCI Vice Chairman Mazen Batarjee and GACIA Secretary General Abdulaziz Al-Meklafi signed the first agreement at the Jeddah Hilton Hotel. The memorandum is aimed at supporting Arab joint chambers, introducing services and facilities to members, and to ensure cooperation on all commercial and economic matters. Visits between the two bodies will also be encouraged in the future. Batarjee also renewed an agreement with the ABCC Secretary General Dr. Afnan Al-Shuaibi, to periodically exchange information on commerce, commercial laws, customs and any other information that could benefit both parties.
