The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) will participate in a meeting on Monday of a number of Arabic language specialists and experts in the active Arabic Dictionary project. The meeting is organized by the Riyadh-based King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology. A statement issued by ALESCO on Saturday said this comes in accordance with the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz to enrich digital Arabic content. As many as 80 Arab linguistic and computer experts from Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, Algeria, France and Britain will participate in the meeting, in addition to representatives from the WHO office in Cairo and the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States, said the statement.
