King calls for "ISTISKA" prayers

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has called for performing Istiska (rain-seeking) prayers throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday, April 28, 2008, said a statement issued here today by the Royal Court.
Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him), used to perform Istiska prayers in cases of drought and delay in rainfall.
