Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has called for performing Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayers throughout the Kingdom next Monday 14thof Muharram 1427 H., as was the tradition of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) when rain season delays or drought occurs. A statement issued by the Royal Court yesterday said the King also called on all people to resort to repentance, help the poor, increase the additional prayers and good deeds and the appeals to Allah Almighty. Those physically able to perform prayers are earnestly requested to show up at early morning Istisqa prayers, the statement said.
