The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of congratulations to Mrs. Quentin Bryce on the occasion of her appointment as Governor General of Australia. In his own name and on behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the King wished the Governor permanent good health and happiness and her friendly people steady progress and prosperity. The Monarch commended relations existing between the two friendly countries and their peoples, and work on their development in all fields.
