The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz has sent a cable of congratulations to the General Governor of Australia Michael Jeffery on the occasion of the National Day of his country. In his own name and on behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the monarch wished the ruler of Australia continuous health and happiness and his people steady progress and prosperity. King Fahd also hailed the deep relations binding the two countries.
