On behalf of Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, the President of AGFUND, Prince Turki Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz will attend AGFUND'S Prize awarding ceremony due to be organized under the patronage of the Argentinean President Cristina Fernandez De Kirchner in Buenos Aires. Addressing a press conference here today Eng. Yousuf al-Bassam, the Deputy Chairman of AGFUND, expressed happiness for hosting the prize awarding ceremony by Argentine. On his part AGFUND's Executive Director Nasser al-Qahtani said AGFUND has so far contributed to financing 1,179 projects in 131 countries in cooperation with its partners. Al-Qahtani recalled the role of AGFUND in fighting poverty through establishing banks of poor people in some Arab countries.
