The Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdurrahman bin Hamad Al-Atiyyah, congratulated the Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz on receiving the Honorary Doctorate in Security Sciences awarded to the King from Naif Arab University for Security Sciences. The Honorary Doctorate was awarded to the Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz during the General Conference of The Arab Universities Federation held under the King's auspices. The conference is hosted by Naif Arab University for Security Sciences. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) the Secretary General of the (GCC) hailed the big efforts exerted by The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques, his wisdom and deep insight in the service of humanity to enhance security, stability, prosperity and development.
