King Khalid University (KKU) hosts the ninth meeting of officials of the Committee of Distance Education Secretariat at Universities and Higher Education Institutions in member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which is scheduled to begin its deliberations on May 13. The Two-day meeting comes in the framework of cooperation between gulf universities in exchanging experiences and successful solutions in the sphere of electronic education. KKU extends great importance to electronic education and it is considered as one of the pioneering higher education institution. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
