Rainstorm hit Muarojambi District, Jambi Province, Sumatra Island, on Sunday afternoon, damaging 24 houses, ANTARA reported. Of the total damaged houses, 15 were located at Pemunduran village and nine at Merinai village, Kumpeh sub-district, Ricky Susandi, a spokesman of the Muarojambi District administration said here on Tuesday. The rainstorm also caused tens of trees to fall but it did not cause any injuries or casualties.
