An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale hit Yugur Autonomous County of Sunan in northwestern Gansu Province, at 16:32 Sunday (Beijing Time), Xinhua quoted Chinese Seismological Network as saying. The epicenter was located at 38 degrees north latitude and 102 degrees east longitude. No report of casualty was available.
