The Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) and the Republic of Sri Lanka signed recently two agreements to extend an amount of SR 75 Million to help construct an Epilepsy Hospital and Diagnostic Centers. SFD also signed another accord worth SR 11 Million to finance a Health facilities Development project in Colombo and a Nerves- Trauma project. With these two agreements, the number of SFD loans extended to Sri Lanka so far reached SR 404 Million. The signing ceremony was attended by SFD Vice President and Managing Director Yousif Ibrahim Al-Bassam and a number of SFD officials. The Sri Lankan side expressed its appreciation and gratitude to the government of Saudi Arabia for its support for Humanitarian projects in Sri Lanka.
