The Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) has decided to extend a loan of 20 million Dinars to Jordan to help finance the second and third phases of the project of rehabilitation and modernization of the Amman-based Al-Basheer Hospital. The Fund's President Eng. Yousef Al-Bassam said the Saudi Fund for Development, which has a paid-up capital of SR 31 billion, was established in 1974 for extending loans to Arab and Muslim countries. Eng. Al-Bassam, who arrived in Amman earlier today, and Jordanian Minister of Health Saeed Dirwaza, signed the loan agreement.
