SFD extends assistance to Maldives

The Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) will extend loans to help finance the programs of eradicating the adverse impact of Tsunami in Maldives under an accord signed here recently.
The signing ceremony was attended by Maldives Minister of Finance and Treasury Kassem Ibrahim and Eng Yousef Al-Bassam, the SFD Managing Director and a number senior officials.
With the signing of this accord, SFD's total lending to Maldives for development projects amounted to SR208.1 million.
