Sheikh, March 06, SPA--Saudi Minister of Health and Head of Executive Bureau of the Council of Arab Health Ministers Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Manie chaired the council's 32nd session here on Wednesday. The meeting approved continuation of Abdullah Zamel Al-Drees, the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Laboratories and Blood Banks in Saudi Arabia as Chairman of the Arab Commission of Blood Transfusion Services for a second term and granting him the Arab Prize for Blood Transfusion Services in 2007 in recognition of his efforts and achievements in the advancement of blood transfusion services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and at the Arab arena. The meeting also approved delegating Dr. Al-Manie to deliver the Council's united speech before the General Assembly of the World Health Organization due to be held in Geneva next May.
