Arab health ministers to meet in Riyadh

Saudi Arabia is to host an extraordinary meeting of Arab health ministers in Riyadh on Tuesday. Dr. Hamad Bin Abdullah Al-Mane', Minister of Health and chairman of the executive bureau of Arab Health Ministers Council, said the meeting is to review the deteriorating health and humanitarian situation in Gaza and ways to provide necessary medical assistance to Palestinians. In an unprecedented move, Saudi Arabia has ordered the provision of a daily relief airlift to Gaza and medical evacuation planes to transport the wounded to specialized hospitals in the Kingdom.
