Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz will patronize the start of the 23rd annual National Festival for Heritage and Culture organized by the National Guard. The festival will begin tomorrow afternoon with a grand camel race at Janadreyah. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques will hand prizes to winners after the race. The festival will feature many activities including a grand speech ceremony and an operetta. On this occasion, Prince general Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Deputy Commander of the National Guard for Military Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the festival's higher committee, highlighted the gracing of the festival by the king and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General. He said that this year, the festival will honor the late Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdulmohsin Altwaijri and that more than 300 intellectuals from the kingdom and abroad will attend the festival. He also highlighted Turkey's participation in this year's festival.
