The Meteorological and Geophysical Agency (BMG) through the Climatology Station KL II on Baai Island has issued a warning of five meter high waves in Indonesian Ocean, West Bengkulu, ANTARA reported. A whether analyst at the Climatology Station KL II, Anang Anwar, here on Sunday, said the result of his monitoring indicated the height of waves in West Bengluku would reach a range of three up to five meters on Monday (March 3) and Tuesday (March 4). He even stressed the result of Citra satellite's monitoring showed a tropical `Ophelia 980 HPA` storm will also happen in North Australian waters. The wind, according to him, over the Indonesian Ocean will blow from Southwest and Northeast direction with an average speed of about 10 to 25 knot per hour. In the meantime, the wind in Bengkulu will blow from the west to northeast direction over that region with an average speed of about 10-23 knot per hour. The climate condition of Bengkulu, he further added, would be cloudy and rain would drop with a light intensity, while the temperature is in a range of 23 to 31 degree Celsius and humidity of about 64 to 94 percent.
