The Ministry of Health honored today a number of the media for their distinction in information coverage of Hajj for 1428H and for health services and care provided to pilgrims. In the forefront of the honored bodies came Saudi Press Agency (SPA) among agencies and Al-Akhbariyyah Channel among television satellite channels as well as local newspapers. The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Manie handed at his office in the ministry today Shields as Distinction Prizes to Director General of Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdulaziz bin Saad Al-Ghamdi, and other directors and representatives of the media. The minister commended the efforts and distinction of the media which highlighted health, therapeutic, preventive and awareness services provided by the government of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to pilgrims since their arrival in the Kingdom until their departure. He also expressed his thanks to the media for supporting various sectors exerting their efforts in the service of pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors of the Prophet's Mosque including the Ministry of Health . Dr. Al-Manie valued the unlimited support provided every year for the Ministry of Health in all its services to pilgrims, citizens and residents by The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince. On their part, the media representatives expressed their appreciation for this honoring which embodies the cohesion of all in the service of pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors. The ceremony was attended by a number of officials of the Ministry of Health.
