The Minister of Hajj, Dr. Fuad bin Abdulsalam Al-Farisi emphasized today the importance of 11th Scientific Forum for Hajj Research which, on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, was inaugurated at Umm Al-Qura University here on Tuesday evening by Prince Naif Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, who is also Chairman of Hajj Supreme Committee and Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj Research. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) this morning, Dr. Al-Farisi pointed out that the patronage of the Saudi leadership for the Forum comes within its attention and care for all services for pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors, stressing the importance of using modern technologies in providing the services of Hajj and Umrah, noting that the Hajj season for this year will achieve further successes in view of the provision of developmental services in the infrastructures of Makkah and the Holy Sites.
