Under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz and Sweden's King Carl XVI Gustav who is also the Honorary President of the World Scout Fund opened here today the International Scout Exhibition for Peace. The General Supervisor of the International Scout Exhibition for Peace Dr. Abdullah bin Sulaiman Al-Fahd delivered a speech in which he expressed happiness over the launch of the exhibition under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz who described boy scouts as "Messengers of Peace" during a meeting with a delegation of boy scouts in Riyadh. He also pointed out that the Crown Prince described boy scouts as "Representatives of Peace". Al-Fahd indicated that the exhibition included world scout achievements of a number of states in the field of peace in addition to the achievements made by Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association. "The exhibition includes hundreds of articles on peace and reflects the scout movement and its message. The Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association designed a Website to inform the world on this international occasion", he added. --More
