The Director of the Global Scout Fund John Gegan, who is also repesentative of the King Karl Jostaf XVI of Sweden, the Honorary President of the facility, made a presentation on the Saudi-sponsored Peace Messengers Program before the recently-concluded 39th International Scout Conference in Brazil aiming at reaching 20 million scouts all over the world. During the presentation, Gegan lauded the endeavor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud benefiting more than 10 million scouts all over the world so far from 110 countries since the inception of the program in 2001. The presentation included a speech by Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed, Minister of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who is also Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association, congratulating scouts of the world on the successes they have achieved.
