Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Society, accompanied by the Minister of Health, Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Manie paid a visit here today to the central operations room of the Society's branch in Riyadh region. During the visit, the Prince briefed the Minister of Health on the latest equipment provided for the central operations room particularly the advanced systems in the area of aid through satellite communications. Prince Faisal said that the system of satellite communications that will be introduced in all central operations rooms of the Saudi Red Crescent Society aims to avoid many of problems delaying rescue teams, noting that the new system allows direct setting of the caller's location. On his part, the Minister of Health expressed his pleasure over remarkable development of the services provided by Saudi Red Crescent Society particularly the central operations room, indicating that through this unique step, the Society has preceded many nations, and adding that the ministry will follow this example.
