Saudi Arabia extends aid to Tajikistan

Implementing directives by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to provide urgent humanitarian aid to Tajikistan to alleviate the affects of the severe cold and snow in addition to presenting a grant of 10 million dollars to secure the urgent humanitarian needs, the Ministry of Finance has prepared 80 tons of food stuffs, palm dates, blankets and carpets to be sent to Tajikistan on board Saudi Arabian Airlines planes.
The Ministry has also sent representatives to arrange for the handing of this aid in coordination with the Saudi embassy in Tajikistan.
