Eastern Region police receives murder defendant

The Eastern Region police received from the Saudi Interpol a Saudi citizen who is accused of a murder and who had escaped to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Director of Saudi Interpol major general Ali bin Abdullah Ala'baishi said that after receiving the report of the Eastern Region police on the crime and the escape of the defendant, immediate coordination with the Bahraini Interpol took place to prevent the defendant from leaving Bahrain and to arrest him. The Bahraini Interpol managed to arrest the defendant after just hours of receiving the report. The defendant was handed to the Saudi Interpol who in turn handed him to the Eastern Region police to complete the legal procedures.
