JEDDAH: A fugitive Saudi businessman arrested last week in a European country under suspicion of escaping with money from shareholders who invested in real estate projects will be handed over to Saudi authorities, sources told Okaz/Saudi Gazette. Interpol, an organization that facilitates cooperation among international police forces, is coordinating with Saudi authorities in preparation for their taking custody of the 37-year-old man and prosecuting him, according to sources, who did not disclose the site of his arrest. The man will face a number of charges, most prominent of which is taking his partners' money after convincing them to invest in a real estate project to construct and market hotel apartments known as apartments for ownership and investment sites, sources said.
