The mass-circulation British Independent newspaper publishes a supplement on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to coincide with the ninth Jeddah Economic Forum, to be sponsored by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Region, from February 23 -26, 2008 at the Exhibitions and Conferences center in Jeddah, it was reported here today. The supplement covers social, economic and sports issues relating to the current prosperous era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General. The most recent giant projects including new industrial cities and universities are also highlighted. On the occasion, the Independent conducted a comprehensive interview with Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare, who is also Chairman of the Saudi Football Federation, during which he cast light on the Saudi sports achievements and the international reputation reached by the Saudi national soccer team as well as other Saudi sports clubs.
