Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Deputy President of Youth Welfare of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, here to lead the Saudi delegation to the 55th conference of the FIFA, said following the meeting in Marrakech today, that his delegation succeeded in conveying Saudi Arabia's views inside the conference and during bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the meeting on a number of issues pertaining to the future of Saudi sports, including soccer, upon instructions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, Prince Nawaf gave an account on a package of decisions issued by the world's sports governing organization. He congratulated Soccer Federations in Comoro Islands and East Timor for having acquired the accession to FIFA as official members.
