Minister of transport Dr Jubara al-Sireisiri said the budget of the transport ministry for this fiscal year includes the implementation of a number of gigantic projects in the various parts of the Kingdom. He noted that some of these projects are new and some others are completion to the existing projects. Dr al-Sireisiri highlighted the great attention being given by the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz to the transport sector. The minister pointed out that the implementation of a great number of road projects with a length of about 7000 kilometer at a total cost of sr7.9 billion has been approved. In his statement to SPA, the minister said the road projects include the southern side of Riyadh circular road, Madinah-Hail road, Tabuk-Ziba road, the second phase of Hail-Gina road, the second phase of Hail-Raf'ha road. Dr al-Sireisiri said the budget of the ministry for this fiscal year (1428-1429) also includes the implementation of projects of a number of agricultural roads in the various parts of the Kingdom with a length of 2631 kilometer at a cost of sr1,283,350,000.
