An avalanche Friday killed three skiers at a northern Spanish ski station, police said, according to dpa. The accident occurred outside marked tracks at the ski station of Formigal in the Aragon region. Skiers had been warned of possible snowslides. Two of the skiers died while rescuers were attending to them, while the body of the third was retrieved shortly afterwards. The victims were believed to be Spanish nationals.
