Search for seamen missing after wreckage of the Bulgarian dry cargo ship Vanessa continued in the early hours of Friday in the Kerch Strait that connects the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, a source at the territorial branch of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM) in the southern Krasnodar territory told Itar-Tass. The wreckage left ten Bulgarian seaman and a Ukrainian port pilot out in the rough sea amid waves rising to the point of four-meters. One of the seamen, Nikolai Demitrov was rescued, and the bodies of another two men were found in the Kerch Strait. One of them was identified as the wrecked ship's senior mechanic Georgy Zhelev. In the meantime, eight people are still listed as missing. As the examination of the zone of wreckage continues, all ships in the Kerch Strait and the Sea of Azov have received the instruction to assist the effort during nighttime.
