The death toll from wildfires reached 48 people in Russia, the information department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
Eight more people were found dead for the past day in the clean-up of the debris from burnt houses in the regions, which were affected in the wildfires at the end of the previous week; so, the death toll reached 48 people.
