Minister of culture and information Iyad Madani signed here today the contract of the first phase of the project of the building of the branch of the ministry and studios in Jeddah with al-Oseis contracting company. The contract amounted to sr 118,521,623. Speaking on the occasion, Madani said the project of the new television center in Jeddah and the new television tower was implemented some months ago, and their cost exceeded sr 100 million. The minister said the cost of the implementing the project of the building of the ministry's branch in Jeddah amounts to about sr 370 million including the cost of the television center and the television tower. --more
