Minister of Water and Electricity Abdulah bin Abd-ur-Rahman Al- Hossein has signed a number of contracts for the implementation of projects for water and sanitation in different parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These contracts costing more than SR 757 Million will be implemented in Jeddah, Makkah, Assir, Madinah, Qassim, Najran, Riyadh and Eastern Provinces. The implementation of these projects come within the framework of the directives of the wise government led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud and its keenness to provide all necessary services for citizens in all parts of the Kingdom. This is also in confirmation of the Ministry's continual services for citizens in compliance with the requirements of the next phase to meet the expansion of urban areas and rapid increase in population in the cities and governorates of the Kingdom.
