The Ministry of Housing has allocated more than 80 million square meters of land for housing projects in various provinces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in implementation of a royal decree issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, to build 500,000 houses at a cost of SR 250 billion. The Ministry has expressed its appreciation of Prince Dr. Mansour Ibn Meteb Ibn Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipalities and Rural Affairs, for delivering the land to the Ministry of Housing and coordinating works to implement housing projects. Earlier, the Ministry of Housing has concluded a contract to implement the first phase of the projects in Riyadh, Kharj, Dammam, Ahsa, Qatif, Jeddah, Madinah, Tabuk, and Khamis Mushait.
