Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Calls For Performing Istiska Prayers

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has called for performing Istiska (rain-seeking) prayers throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Thursday, December 13, 2007, the Royal Court said in a statement issued today.
It noted that it was the tradition of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him), to perform Istiska prayers at the time of the rainfall delay, urging all on repentance and good deeds.
