The visiting five-member Brunei defense delegation has met Defense Production Secretary Lt-Gen (retd) Shahid Siddiq Tirmizey and discussed matters of mutual interest, according to an official statement. Both sides underscored the need for enhanced cooperation in the area of defense. Tirmizey briefed the delegation about the potential of defense production units of Pakistan and various other defense-related projects particularly the JF-17 thunder Aircraft. Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Hamid, who headed the delegation, praised the quality and standard of the defense equipment being produced in Pakistan. He informed the Secretary about his fruitful discussions held with senior defense and military officials of Pakistan and hoped that his visit would further help in cementing and broadening defense cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
