The Council of the Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry will organize a visit by a delegation of Saudi businessmen to Italy on November 5-7, 2007. The visit of the businessmen coincides with the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-aziz to Italy. The Saudi businessmen will hold talks with their Italian counterparts on trade and economic issues. Dr Fahd al-Sultan, the secretary general of the council, said Italy is one of the important economic partners of the Kingdom. He underscored the importance of boosting economic cooperation with Italy. Dr al-Sultan hailed the significant role being played by the council as regards shedding light on the investment opportunities in the Kingdom. It is worth mentioning that the Saudi-Italian business council was established in 2006 by the Saudi and Italian chambers of commerce and some Saudi and Italian businessmen for activation of trade exchange between the two countries.
