Prince Khalid al-Faisal to patronize Holy Quran contest

On behalf of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Prince Khalid al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah region, will patronize the final session for King Abdulaziz International Contest for the Holy Quran Memorization, Recitation, Intonation and Interpretation here on Sunday evening.
The 7-day contest is organized by the ministry of Islamic affairs, endowments, call and guidance at the Auditorium of the Islamic Solidarity here.
167 competitors from 96 countries and 71 Islamic societies and organizations are participating in the contest.
SR888,000 have been allocated for the first five winners of the contest's five branches.
The contest aims at encouraging the sons of the Muslims to get acquainted with the Holy Quran memorization, recitation, intonation and interpretation.
